TEWKSBURY - Donald F. Bliss Sr., 68, of Tewksbury, a former longtime resident of Attleboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 at Tewksbury Hospital in Tewksbury.

Born in Fall River, MA on July 24, 1941, he was a son of the late Eugene and Hazel (Leach) Bliss.

Don grew up and was educated in Mansfield. A resident of Attleboro for many years prior to living in Tewksbury for the past eight years, Mr. Bliss, a retired pantographer, was the successful and proud owner of the D.F.B. Co. in North Attleboro, a business he operated for many years before retiring.

Don's hobbies included his love for the outdoors, he enjoyed white water rafting, camping and the wonderful times spent with his devoted family.

He is survived by his dear children Todd Bliss of Plainville, Cherry Bliss-LeBlanc of Lowell and the late Donald F. Bliss Jr. He was the brother of the late Richard Bliss, Don Bliss and Eugene Bliss and is also survived by his cherished nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.

Burial will be private.
