Trepaniers celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Attleboro - Paul and Roberta (Tomlinson) Trepanier recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 10 with a party at their home hosted by their children.

The couple, who met while roller skating at Witschi's Sports Arena in high school, married on that date in 1959 at St. Theresa's Church in South Attleboro.

Originally from North Attleboro, Paul was a detective for the Attleboro Police Department for 23 years and has been retired for 19 years. He also worked at the fish hatchery in North Attleboro and as a driver for Covidien Medical for 15 years.

An Attleboro native, Roberta worked as a bank teller for the First National Bank, in addition to other part-time jobs, before retiring.

The couple has two children, Mark Trepanier of Attleboro, and Rhonda Dunn of Montgomery. They have four grandchildren: Lacey, Bethany, Hillary and Nicky Trepanier, all of Rehoboth.
