Grand jury indicts convicted drug dealers

FOXBORO - Two convicted drug dealers arrested in March on drug distribution charges in an undercover narcotics investigation have been indicted by a Norfolk County grand jury.
Jose T. Torres-Vega, 43, and Alexander Letriz, 41, both of Fall River, were indicted on distribution of heroin and cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug laws and obstruction of justice, Police Chief Edward O'Leary said.
They also were indicted for second and subsequent offenses because of previous convictions for the same crimes in Bristol and Plymouth counties, O'Leary said.
They were arrested in March on East Street by detectives Thomas Kirrane and Brian Gallagher and Millis Detective Domenic Tiberi. They were assisted by officers John Chamberlin and Shawn McKay.
Torres-Vega was arrested again Sept. 4 at the Cumberland Farms convenience store on Mechanic Street by Kirrane, K-9 Officer John Chamberlin and his dog "Jada" and Officer Jay Payne.
He was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of a prescription amphetamine, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
