Mansfield
Letter of thanks
Top Headlines To the editor: On April 26th our Mansfield Relay for Life Team held a Yogathon at Lighten up Wellness in Mansfield to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The community came together to support our efforts and we were able to raise over $700 to contribute to our fundraising efforts. A special thank you to Tina Walsh, owner of Lighten-up Wellness, who not only donated her space, but her time and talent as well. Also, to Tom Simpson, who tirelessly worked to create the perfect team shirts for us which symbolized one of the many types of cancer we are trying to put and end to. The purple shirts we wore were meant to represent thyroid cancer and the team name, Kaleidoscope of Hope, to represent all the different kinds of cancer we are fighting to find a cure for. We would also like to thank Café on the Common, Peluso Orthodontics, ESP printing, TSEL partners and Nutrastep for sponsoring our team shirts. To date, our team has raised over $3500 for the ACS and donations are still coming in. The relay has ended, and with great success. If you would still like to make a donation, visit the Web site www.relayforlife.org/mansfieldma and click on “donate,” and look for Team Kaleidoscope of Hope. Thank you, Michelle Tsimtsos, Julie Duncan, Staci Carty, Maureen Belanger, Cindy Fernandez, Barbara Manley, Jeanne Barreta, Jay Lawson, Linda Lawson, Serena Lawson and Deborah Lawson Team Kaleidoscope of Hope
