MANSFIELD - The Democratic committees of Attleboro, Dover, Foxboro, Mansfield, Medfield, Norton, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Sharon and Walpole will hold a regional U.S. Senate Democratic candidates' forum Saturday in Mansfield.

The breakfast event, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., is open to the public at $15 per person. It will be held at the Mansfield Elks Hall at 140 North Main St. The invited featured guests are the four Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate running to replace the late Sen. Edward Kennedy: U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano, Attorney General Martha Coakley, City Year founder Alan Khazei and businessman Steve Pagliuca.

The candidates will square off in a primary Dec. 8. The campaigns may send surrogates to represent their campaigns if the candidates themselves are not able to attend in person.
