Vendors invited to exhibit at Angelcat fair
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue of Plainville is seeking crafters and vendors for its third annual Holiday Craft Fair scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Attleboro Elk's Lodge, 52 Bulfinch St., North Attleboro.
Tables are available for $35. Exhibitors are asked to provide an item for the raffle (to be donated the day of the event.) Set up begins at 9 a.m. Saturday. For more information on how to secure a table, call 508-203-4240, e-mail

Father Pat to give concert in NorthNORTH ATTLEBORO - St. Mary's Women's Guild of North Attleboro is sponsoring a concert performance by the Rev. Andre Patenaude, known as "Father Pat," an international singer, composer and recording artist.
The performance will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at St. Mary's Church, 14 Park St., at 6:30 p.m. The performance is open to all for a fee of $5. Refreshments will be served following the performance at the parish center. Bid on items to aid NA's Grace ChurchNORTH ATTLEBORO - Grace Episcopal Church, 104 North Washington St., will host an auction night Saturday, Nov. 14 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be both live and silent auctions taking place throughout the night. Tickets are $10 each and include two glasses of wine and hors d'oeuvres. Items to be auctioned off range from baked goods and other homemade items to a new Vera Bradley handbag, Patriots tickets, and Red Sox tickets.
If you are interested in donating anything to be auctioned off, call the church Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to p.m. at 508-695-5471.
North GOP sets meeting scheduleNORTH ATTLEBORO - The North Attleboro Republican Town Committee's meetings will continue to be held the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 7 p.m. at Mackie's Restaurant.
The dates are Nov. 18 and Dec. 16.
First Congregational sets its market scheduleNORTH ATTLEBORO - The church will hold the following fairs and flea markets:
Nov. 14 - A flea market will be held at the school house from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the fall fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Nov. 21 - The annual holiday vendor's fair will be held.

A free tag making workshop will be held at the North Attleboro YMCA on Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.
Trips include: Nov. 19 -Wright's Chicken Farm luncheon, show and dance on from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The comedy, music and audience participation of WBZ radio personality Mel Simons and dancing with Dave Valerio. The bus will leave the North Attleboro YMCA at 11 a.m. Dec. 9 - A day with Sinatra at the Venus De Milo. Cost $22 and includes transportation.
Wanted: Crafters for NA church bazaarNORTH ATTLEBORO - The First United Methodist Church in North Attleboro is seeking crafters, artists and retail vendors for its Holiday Bazaar that will be held Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The church is located at the intersection of routes 1 and 120. Monthly meat raffles at VFW
NORTH ATTLEBORO - A meat raffle will be held by the North Attleboro VFW, 50 Jefferson St., the first Saturday of every month.
There will be 10 trays of meat, a 50/50 raffle, and $50 in scratch tickets to be raffled. The public is welcome. For hall rental information, call Patty at 508-699-2052.
NAHS Class of '79 to reunite Nov. 27NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North Attleboro High School's Class of 1979 will hold its 30-year class reunion on Friday, Nov. 27 at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield.

NA school collects box tops, labelsNORTH ATTLEBORO - Community School families have signed up for several programs designed to earn cash for our school.
The school is collecting Box Tops for Education labels (found on General Mills, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker and many more products), Campbell's Labels for Education (found on Campbell's, Prego, Pepperidge Farm, and V-8 juice caps) and Shaw's Supermarket receipts (which earn "Shaw's Receipt Rewards"). In addition, subscribing to magazines through the Box Tops for Education Web site can earn the school up to 20 percent of sales.
