Loving husband of Jeanne Dubois Morin (who recently died on Aug. 28), he leaves six children, 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his sister, Claudette Fortin of Auburn, Maine.

For many years, Dr. Morin practiced dentistry in Attleboro and was on the staff at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was an award-winning artist; he studied painting with well-known artist Charles Couper.

Dr. Morin was born in Manville, R.I., on Dec. 31, 1918. The headline in the paper the next day read "Freshman Morin Leads Comeback Victory for the Mounties."

He was the first member of his family to ever attend college, first at Providence College, then at the University of Ottawa; he received his D.D.S from the University of Montreal.

He was an Army Lt. Colonel during the Korean War.

He and his wife traveled widely and lived in Hawaii for a few years before returning to Attleboro.

After he retired in 1980, he enjoyed genealogy and visiting with his family. He was an exceptionally kind, patient, and generous man. He is deeply missed, naturellement.
