Top Headlines Anthony Pellegrini, 55 MANSFIELD - Anthony F. "Tony" Pellegrini, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 30 at home. He was 55 years old. He was the beloved husband of Beth (Marsden) Pellegrini for 21 years. Born on Nov. 17, 1953 in Attleboro, he was the loving son of the late Anthony F. and Margueritte (Narciso) Pellegrini. He graduated from Mansfield High School and Coyne Electrical, formerly of Boston. Mr. Pellegrini was an electrician for Invensys, formerly known as Foxboro Co. in Foxboro, where he dedicated 35 years of service. He was a member of the Mansfield Elks and enjoyed golfing and playing in tournaments. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pellegrini is also survived by his son, David Pellegrini of Mansfield. He was the loving brother of William Pellegrini and his wife Christine of Norton and Shirley Darling of Attleboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main St., Mansfield will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106), Mansfield at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Gulliver Street Cemetery, Taunton. Donations may be made in Mr. Pellegrini's memory to the Patrick McLaughlin Memorial Fund, P.O. Irene Cosgray, 82 NORTH ATTLEBORO - Irene (Marshall) Cosgray of Lakewood Drive passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence at age 82. She was the wife of the late John Edward Cosgray, who died in 2003. Born March 17, 1927 in Medford, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Zulmira (Brazil) Marshall. She had been a resident of Hingham and Weymouth and attended schools in both those towns before moving to North Attleboro over 49 years ago. She belonged to the Quota Club and operated one of the first laundromats in the area for several years before becoming a beauty counselor. In her earlier years, she was active in the North Attleboro PTA. She was also active in the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, as her husband belonged to the association. She would drive veterans and help organize shows and activities for the DAV. She organized a rummage sale that was able to present the DAV with funds to help find a building for their meetings. She became a member of DAV Auxiliary Westcott Houghton Chapter 56. She also worked for both CR Randall Jewelry Co. and Fuller Box. She is survived by her daughters, Donna and her husband, Everett A. Barton Jr., Darlene Brownell and special daughters Marcy and Regina, all of North Attleboro. She was the grandmother of Heather Elizabeth Barton of Foxboro and Gregory Everett Barton and his wife, Robin of Providence; and the sister of Louis Marshall and his wife, Wilda of Weymouth, Dorothy Casale of Burbank and Betty Rienstra of Dayton, OH, Genevieve Fusco of Pembroke and Nancy Russell of Pembroke and the late Albert Marshall, Grace McGuiness and Shirley Marshall. She is also survived by a nephew, Richard Callahan of Attleboro and many other nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
