Angelcat Holiday Craft Fair Nov. 7




NORTH ATTLEBORO - Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue will hold its 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the North Attleboro Elk's Lodge, 52 Bulfinch St.

Admission is a minimum $1 donation; children younger than 12 get in free.

Along with craft items there will be baked goods, food, refreshments and raffles. Vendors and crafters include jewelry makers, scrap bookers, Tastefully Simple, The Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Mia Bella Candles, and others.

All proceeds go directly to cover medical expenses for cats and kittens. Tables are available for $35 for crafters and vendors interested in selling their items. Exhibitors are asked to provide one item for the raffle (to be donated the day of the event) Set up begins at 9 a.m. the day of the fair.

Papa Gino's will help Paws of PlainvillePLAINVILLE - The Papa Gino's at 15 Taunton St. (Route 152) will be raising money Thursday, Nov. 5, for a permanent shelter for Paws of Plainville Inc.

From 4 to 9 p.m., 20 percent of the pre-tax sales receipts will be donated to the 4PAWS Animal Shelter campaign for any in-house orders and pickup orders at regular pricing that are accompanied with a special certificate.

Paws of Plainville, a longtime cat rescue organization, is a non-profit started by a group of volunteers from Plainville, Wrentham, Norfolk and Foxboro to address the fact that none of the towns have an animal shelter.

Nine Lives plans craft fair/bake saleNORTON - Nine Lives of Norton Feline Rescue Shelter is sponsoring a craft fair/bake sale, Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Church at Taunton Avenue (Route 140) and West Main Street (Route 123).
