Wanted: Help for KP area Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts in Wrentham and Plainville are in need of adult volunteers who would like to help build tomorrow's leaders at all grade levels. It helps to be crafty and like camping, but it's not a requirement. The only requirement is a willingness to be a role model and help build young women of courage, confidence and character.

Each troop has its own characteristics as the girls and leaders choose activities and community service projects for the girls.

Training is provided locally for all leaders, assistant leaders and volunteers. Interested? Contact Diane Pelrine, membership coordinator at Pelrine.Scouts@Verizon.net or by phone at 508-384-8570. More information will be available at the Scout registration meetings at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Trinity Church in Wrentham and at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Jackson School library in Plainville.
