Three hurt in Plainville crash

PLAINVILLE - Three people suffered minor injuries in a two-car accident at the intersection of routes 1 and 152 Saturday afternoon.
Just after noon, a car driven by Gordon Walsh, 74 and of Bellingham, was headed south on Route 1, when it took an illegal left turn onto Route 152 and struck a car driven by Xingwang Zhou, 46, of Sharon, according to police.
Zhou, along with his 8-year-old son Matthew, suffered minor injuries in the accident, as did Wanda Reed, 74, of Bellingham, who was a passenger in Walsh's car.
The Zhous were transported by Plainville rescue to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, while Reed was taken by Wrentham rescue to Milford Hospital. Walsh was not transported for treatment, police said.
According to police, Walsh was cited for the accident.
