Two Taunton youths place 3rd in Mass. Elks State Soccer Shoot

TAUNTON - The Taunton Lodge of Elks #150-sponsored Soccer Shoot champions placed third at the Massachusetts Elks State Soccer Shoot, which was held Oct. 25, at the Hudson Lodge of Elks #959.
Jillian Crespi came in 3rd in the Girls under 12 Division, along with Bryan Clark who also placed 3rd in the Boys under 14 Division. Both of them had won the local Taunton Lodge-sponsored Soccer Shoot and the Mass. South District Soccer Shoot held in Wareham, to advance to the state finals.
They were completing against eight other Massachusetts Elks District winners in each age category for the right to represent Massachusetts at the regional finals of the National Elks Soccer Shoot Contest, to be held in St. Albans, Vt. on November 7, 2009.
