Transportation is available within a 15-mile radius of Wrentham, and for doctor's appointments in the Boston, Providence and Worcester areas, through GATRA's Dial-A-Ride program. Applications for rides, which are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, are available at the center. The cost is a small donation. Wrentham Cultural Council accepting applications WRENTHAM - Wrentham Cultural Council is accepting applications for the fiscal year 2009 grant cycle. Applications are available at the Fiske Library, Post Office, and Town Hall, or may be downloaded from the Massachusetts Cultural Council Web site at massculturalcouncil.org. Applications must be postmarked no later than Oct. 15. They must be sent to the Wrentham Cultural Council, 79 South St., Wrentham, MA 02093. Wanted: Volunteers for flu clinics WRENTHAM - The public health nurses are looking for medical and nonmedical volunteers to help staff HINI (swine flu) vaccination clinics. KP Class of 1961 plans 50th reunion WRENTHAM - The King Philip Regional High School of 1961 is working on plans for its 50th reunion. Tentative plans are for a three day weekend reunion from April 29-May 1, 2011. Efforts are under way to locate classmates and formulate additional plans. Wrentham High Class of '51 plans reunion WRENTHAM - Wrentham High School's Class of 1951 is in the planning stage for its 60th reunion. The class that attended the former high school that was located at Wrentham Center parking lot numbered just 24 students, with just 15 remaining. Also, graduates have lost track of two classmates, and a few who didn't graduate for various reasons, but who they would like to reach.
