New Smyrna Beach, Fla. - John E. Schromm and Nancy A. (Carl) Schromm will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 26. The couple married on that date in 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Mansfield.

A reception, hosted by Nancy's parents - Ed and Ruth Carl, followed at their Park Street residence.

The Schromms have two children: a son, John E. Schromm, Jr., 49, and his wife, Lynne M. Schromm nee Wilkinson, of South Attleboro and a daughter, Kandice A. Schromm, 46, of Daytona Beach, Fla.

The couple also has two grandchildren: Garett Schromm and Kelsey Schromm.

The Schromms will celebrate their anniversary on a 16-night cruise of the Panama Canal and surrounding islands.
