Norton police continue search for robbery suspect

NORTON - Police continue to search for a suspect who allegedly robbed a local business of money while wearing a ski mask and showing a handgun Friday night.
The suspect allegedly stole money from Massage 45 at 33 West Main St. (Route 123), police said.
An employee called 911 about 9:45 p.m. to report he had been robbed. The employee told police a man entered the business wearing a black ski mask and pointed a handgun at him and ordered the employee to give him all of the money. A customer was also in the building at the time of the robbery, police said.
Attleboro police assisted Norton police looking for a white SUV blazer believed to have been involved that was reported to have headed toward Attleboro.
The suspect was described by police as a 6-foot tall white man, with a large amount of lower facial hair, light brown hair, in his early 20s, and wearing a green Army jacket and jeans.
The incident remains under investigation by Patrolmen Bryan King and Stephen Francis as well as Detective Stephen Desfosses and Detective Lt. Thomas Petersen.
