WOONSOCKET, R.I. - The Cherry Poppin' Daddies will be performing Saturday night, Nov. 14, at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre.

The Daddies formed way back in 1988 and play an unconventional lyric-driven mixture of punk rock, swing music, funk and ska, among other styles. Their 1997 release, "Zoot Suit Riot," went double platinum and put swing music back on American popular radio.

The song "Zoot Suit Riot" has since become a staple at weddings, bar mitzvahs, and the 7th inning stretch of a Yankees game.
