When it came to big prime rib, Archie's Tavern in Pawtucket was the place you headed for. But those days are gone, as is the tavern.

Sez you... "I read your column every Thursday - eagerly awaiting the latest in eating out," writes a Faithul Reader. "Have you ever tried the restaurant 3 (on Route 140 just off 495) in Franklin? Or is it out of your jurisdiction? Really good food - different! Delicious!" Franklin, indeed, is an "in" destination with some very good restaurants.
