Group is named after highest point in Rhode Island
CUMBERLAND, R.I. - Jerimoth Hill will present an evening of old-time gospel music at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Blackstone River Theatre, 549 Broad St.

The group is named after the highest point in Rhode Island, which is in the town of Foster, home to members Elwood Donnelly and Aubrey Atwater. Jerimoth Hill includes Atwater on mountain dulcimer, banjo and mandolin; Donnelly on lead vocals and guitar; Cathy Clasper-Torch on fiddle and cello; Heidi Cerrigione on autoharp; John Cerrigione on bass; and Uriah Donnelly on piano and guitar.

"The Halfway Ground," the 10th recording for Atwater-Donnelly and the first for Jerimoth Hill, was voted 2007 Album of the Year in the Motif Magazine Music Poll.
