Foxboro Garden Club says thanks
To the editor: The Foxboro Garden Club would like to thank Foxboro residents for their support of the plant sale help on the Foxboro Common on Saturday, May 23. Funds raised at this sale are used for community projects — the Boyden Library grounds, the Sallie Garden on Main Street, and the two raised planters at town hall. We appreciate the donation of plants from Briggs Nursery and the beautiful rhododendron donated by Ray McKay of Sunlight Farm. All other plants were from the gardens of Garden Club members. FOXBORO - Sgt. Michael Johns returned home to Fort Bragg, N.C. on Nov. 12 after a year-long deployment to Iraq. The son of Michael and Janis Johns of Foxboro, he was promoted to sergeant Oct. 1 and had been awarded the Combat Infantry Badge in March 2009 while serving in Iraq. Thomas J. McGuire
