Farmers Market

Katie Dimond, 4, of Attleboro, climbs behind the wheel of an antique farm tractor on display during the Farmers Market held at Capron Park on Sept. 1.

The Attleboro Farmers Market has big plans for its last three weeks of the season, which ends Oct. 20. The events include a fundraiser for the Hebron Food Pantry this Saturday, and an apple pie contest Oct. 13.

It was incorrectly reported in Wednesday’s Sun Chronicle that the market had ended last week.

The market, held at Capron Park, has been named Number 1 in the state by American Farm Land Trust and Number 9 in the entire country based on the number of votes sent in by patrons.
