Former U.S. Rep. Barney Frank was only out of office for one day when it appeared he was already missing Washington.

Frank, D-Newton, told MSNBC Friday that he would like to be appointed the interim U.S. senator from Massachusetts if Sen. John Kerry resigns to become secretary of state.

Anyone who wants to put this guy into the Senate, just watch this video of his speech:

Pay attention to the point where he talks about out of district money.

65% of his money came from out of state.

    Hypocrite, fraud, liar. Go away!

Agreed - If the state of Massachusetts cannot find someone apart from this bitter, nasty, now washed up old has been who cannot work and play well with others, then it isn't looking hard enough.

Barney left Washington after he realized history would remember him for his role in the Fannie/Freddie Mess more than anything else, and now he wants another bite at the apple?

Let me guess, his tax payer funded pension goes up if he gets this gig, right?

One more pull on the Taxpayer teat and the middle finger up - just his style.

Frank is not as well liked as he things he is. His snide comments and rude behavior after his last election. Taunting those who voted against him. He had a prominent role in the sub-prime mortgage fiasco and then blames the Republicans.
Frank is a big reason for the fiscal mess and the governor knows it.

There have to be a hundred other qualified seat warmers to "represent" the people of Massachusetts before Brown's election.

And does anyone wonder why politicians are held in such low regard? Well, maybe in MA this guy is liked but MA has different standards for pols than other places.
