FOXBORO - Eleven months after ground was broken at Boyden Library, the $11.7 million expansion and renovation project is on target to open in late spring.

"The design and layout clearly show that today's library has gone 'beyond books' to become the anchor and the cornerstone of the downtown area and the entire community," said David Crimmins, treasurer of the Friends of the Boyden Library, said after a recent tour. "You might even say it is 'the living room' of the community where people of all ages can meet, attend programs, research, use the Internet or just sit in a quiet corner and read a book."
