The speculation has already begun on who would run for the seat of U.S. Sen. John Kerry if he is nominated to become President Barack Obama's secretary of defense or secretary of state, but one political newcomer has ruled himself out of contention.
A spokeswoman for Joseph Kennedy III, who was elected to the U.S. House last week, said the congressman-elect has no interest. Emily Browne said Kennedy's sole focus is on representing the 4th Congressional District. The district includes the Attleboro area.
