FOXBORO - A venturesome cat that went missing in Brookline turned up some 25 miles away in Foxboro, mewing for food and water a day later at a downtown consignment shop.

Norfolk resident Emily Feeney, 22, who works at Chic 2 Chic at 34 School St. across from Foxboro Common, scooped the stranded gray and white, short-haired neutered male from under a car in the store parking on Friday, Aug. 9.
