SEEKONK — Landscaper Matt Habershaw says thieves blew up his July 4 holiday by stealing a dump truck, trailer and tractor worth a total of about $40,000 from his business on Pond Street.

The brazen intruders apparently took their time loading the farm tractor and other equipment onto the trailer, then topped themselves by crashing the entire rig through Habershaw’s security gates. So far, the equipment remains missing.
