The Norfolk Community League is hosting a night of shopping, eating and socializing Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Primavera Restaurant, 20 Pleasant St., in Millis. While shopping, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, and enter to win raffle items.

The following vendors will be featured: The Pink Poppy, Nantucket Bodyworks, Harvest Moo, Boden, Trappings of Wellesley, Entertaining at Home, Bibsy, Be Dazzled, Jems by Jules, Pampered Chef, Silpada, Lia Sophia, Village Arts and Flowers, Arbonne ,Bonnie Tragakis Stationary, Tupperware, Jan's Jewels, Usborne Books, 5 Sisters, Snapdragons Jewelry, Nauts, and Newton Street Designs.

The entrance fee is a $20 charitable donation to NCL and can be reserved in advance by going to www.norfolkcommunityleague.org to download the reservation form. A limited number of tickets will available at the door. All of the proceeds from ticket sales and vendor fees will go directly back to the community. Pray for children, schools in Norfolk

NORFOLK - Join women around the world on Saturday, Nov. 14 for "Arise! Cry Out!," a day of prayer for children and schools. The local host site is Emmanuel Baptist Church at 63 Rockwood Road. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Online preregistration is requested to assist with planning and there is no charge to attend. Women from teenagers on up are invited.

FRANKLIN - The Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School Student Council has planned a fundraising event at Uno Chicago Grill, located in front of the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets off South Street (Route 1A), for Thursday, Oct. 22.

Uno has agreed to donate up to 20 percent of the total check of anyone who eats in or takes out food, provided customers use a special coupon.

Coupons can be picked up at the Tri-County main office and will also be mailed home to students. Requests for coupons may also be e-mailed to haney@tri-county.tc.
