NORFOLK - Town regulations for political signs have been revised after two town meetings worth of debate.
Voters at last week's town meeting passed a new bylaw that allows for an unlimited number of signs for candidates for public office and ballot issues. The old bylaw called for a limit of two signs that couldn't be put up more than 30 days before an election. Under both bylaws, the signs must be removed no later than two days after the election. Pray for children, schools in Norfolk
NORFOLK - Join women around the world on Saturday, Nov. 14 for "Arise! Cry Out!," a day of prayer for children and schools. The local host site is Emmanuel Baptist Church at 63 Rockwood Road. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Online preregistration is requested to assist with planning and there is no charge to attend. Women from teenagers on up are invited.  WRENTHAM -The King Philip Regional School District music program has won yet another honor, with the marching band and color guard capturing a national championship in Maryland this past weekend.
The 97 King Philip middle and high school band members Saturday captured the title in their division at the United States Scholastic Band Association national finals at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Their score was 97.45, just two-tenths of a point over a school from Pennsylvania in Division Four. The local students were treated to an escort by three police cruisers - one from each of the King Philip towns, as their three buses rolled back to the high school late Sunday night. More Headlines
