REHOBOTH - The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School Committee is putting together a social networking policy to provide guidance for online conversations between teachers and students and-or parents or guardians on social networks such as Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter.

A draft of the policy is available on the district website at drregional.org. The committee is seeking comments on the policy from parents, staff and community. The policy is expected to be finalized by early August so that it can go into effect by the beginning of the new school year. Comments on the draft can be sent to kfagan@drregional.org.
