DIGHTON - Dighton will mark its 300th with a couple of major events over the next two weeks:
Saturday - Dighton's Tricentennial Parade will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday. The parade route follows the "Old Bristol Path" on Elm Street from the intersection of Main Street northbound to Route 138 north to the viewing stand at Dighton Elementary School. After the parade, there will be a town picnic/cookout with entertainment at the Lions Club Pavilion behind Dighton Town Hall.
