REHOBOTH - Peter Jacobson, a longtime member of the Board of Assessors, announced his upcoming retirement to the board of selectmen on Monday.
Jacobson, who has served as an assessor for nearly 30 years, said he was retiring at the end of his term on April 6 due to the town's decision not to provide health insurance for non-full time employees.
