REHOBOTH - Selectmen are calling for Attorney General Martha Coakley to intervene in its legal fight with a former local cable TV provider and one of its officers who has been indicted on embezzlement charges.

The five-member board sent a two-page letter and several attachments to Coakley's office asking that she review Rehoboth Public Access Corp., with which the town is involved in litigation. According to the letter, the town is currently suing the group over $280,000 in missing cash and audio-visual equipment it alleges was stolen.
