FOXBORO - Seeing friends depart the roster has become old hat for Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady.

In recent days, he has seen his longtime center (Dan Koppen), a favorite wide receiver (Deion Branch) and a trusted understudy (Brian Hoyer) depart for points unknown as he remains behind to prepare for a new season. It's nothing new. At age 35 and with 12 seasons in the history books, Brady knows how to press forward undeterred by whatever personal feelings he may have about the departed individuals.
