FOXBORO - For Tom Brady, the extra time since Thursday's 13-10 win over the New York Jets is an opportunity for his Patriots to refresh themselves in the fundamentals that seemed to be lacking in that lackluster offensive performance.

"Last week we didn't get to work on any fundamentals or techniques in practice," the Patriots' quarterback told reporters Wednesday. "You go out and you execute in the first week like we did against Buffalo and then there was a quick turnaround playing on Thursday night. So there are probably things we probably wish we would have practiced, but didn't really have an opportunity to.
