PLAINVILLE - The King Philip Regional High golf team, fresh off of a five-stroke win over North Attleboro on Friday, returned to the Wentworth Hills Country Club Monday and took an 18-stroke margin of victory over Foxboro, 164-182 in the Hockomock League match.

KP senior captain Mike Pergola, the No. 2 leading average scorer in the Hockomock League, shot a 5-over-par medalist round of 40 for the Warriors with a birdie on the par-5 No. 5 hole. KP nudged ahead of Foxboro as a result of senior James Baxter and freshman Sebastian Ladoulin (a career-best round) both shooting 40's.
