"To Kill a Mockingbird" is a Pulitzer Prize wining novel by Harper Lee set in the South in 1930. This is a great book because you can read it and enjoy it at the same time. It also teaches a lesson that everyone will love. Atticus Finch was assigned to defend a black man named Tom Robinson, who was accused of raping a young white woman. Finch agrees to defend Tom no matter what the circumstances. I highly recommend this book because it's very inspirational.
