BRISTOL, R.I. - The following area students graduated from Roger Williams University in the spring, the university has just announced:

ATTLEBORO: Andrew Larson earned a BS degree in finance. Gabriella Mendes earned a BA degree in media communication

NORTH ATTLEBORO: Alexis Chura earned a BA degree in graphic design communications. Alexander Lunter earned a BS degree in legal studies.

Rehoboth: Brittany Reed earned a degree in B.S. in Architecture

Seekonk: Ryan Corry earned a BS degree in finance. Kelsey Harrington earned a BA degree in Psychology. Staci Lamoureux earned an MS degree in Criminal Justice.

Wrentham: Tyler Campo earned a degree in B.S. in Management. Marissa Douvas earned a degree in B.S. in Architecture. Kaelan Hunter earned a degree in B.S. in Architecture.

Ithaca College

ITHACA, N.Y. - Ithaca College student Andrew McManus of Wrentham won second place in the Best Video Special Broadcast category at the National Student Electronic Media Convention.

The award was presented to the student producers of the Ithaca College Television 2015 special broadcast, "Election Center."

Eastern Connecticut State University

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. — Forty-nine exemplary psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University presented their research on Dec. 11 at the department’s annual Psychological Science Night.

Among the students who presented was senior Alexandra Steel of Foxboro, who majors in psychology. Mentored by pychology professor Peter Bachiohi, Steel’s research project was titled “Animal Assisted Therapy, Mood and Social Facilitation.”
