The pre-kindergarten students from St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro collected infant accessories (diapers, sleepers, washcloths and blankets) for New Hope for their third annual Lenten Service Project. Teacher Kim Cavanaugh said "the goal of the project is alms giving during Lent. We try to help the children understand that there are others that are in need and we try for items that they understand and can pick out with their parents." Shown here with the students and their baskets are teachers Tammy O'Malley and Cavanaugh along with Christina Gohring, an outreach specialist for New Hope.
