Wrentham church planning yard sale

WRENTHAM — Trinity Episcopal Church, 47 East St. (Route 140), is holding its annual yard sale Friday, June 14, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items include jewelry, books, household, collectibles, toys, and more.

This year a portion of proceeds will help support some of Trinity’s outreach programs: Wrentham District Court’s “Busy Bags” for children, “One Family Breakfast” at All Saints, Attleboro; “Comfort Cases” for kids going into foster care; Medway Family Shelter’s “Christmas Giving Tree;” and the #2069 sign project for opioid awareness.

Oldtown Church puts on a BBQ

NORTH ATTLEBORO — The First Congregational Church UCC (Oldtown Church) at 675 Old Post Road is hosting its annual Chicken BBQ Saturday, June 15, with serving on the South Lawn continuously between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Price is $13 for adults, $4 for children 10 and under.

$1 of each adult meal served will go to the Food Forward mission to help feed those in need in the area.

Reservations can be made by calling Ed at 1-508-212-4774. Take-out orders accepted. The vestry hall is handicap accessible and will be used in case of rain.

Supper at Attleboro church

ATTLEBORO — A Saturday Night Supper will be held June 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 15 Sanford St. across from the YMCA in downtown Attleboro.

Barbecue chicken, potato salad, summer salads, dessert and beverage. Adults $10. Kids $5. Call 508-222-1759 or email to make reservation.
