NORTH ATTLEBORO - Zach McGowan and Jack Dakin each fired in four goals as the North Attleboro High boys' lacrosse team downed Scituate 14-6 Monday in a non-league match.

Rocketeer goalie Dan MacDonald totaled 17 saves, "but the real standouts were the defense because they made Scituate shoot from outside," said North coach Kevin Young.

North Attleboro held a 5-1 lead at intermission. Jason McNeaney and defenseman Max Fontes each had two goals. North (5-2) visits Canton Wednesday.

Bishop Feehan 11, Medway 7

ATTLEBORO - Nick Peirce scored five goals, including the first two of the non-league match, while Carter Castillo collected seven assists as the Shamrocks (4-2) held on for the win over the Tri-Valley League member.

C.J. Herson won 80 percent of his faceoffs, while goalie Joe Franklin totaled eight saves as the Shamrocks rallied from a 5-4 halftime deficit. Shaun Peirce scored three goals and had an assist. Tim D'Ambrosia scored twice, while Jacob Dentch had one goal and one assist.

Feehan visits Martha's Vineyard Tuesday.

Mansfield 9,

Bridgewater-Raynham 8

MANSFIELD - Cullen Murphy scored with just over two minutes remaining in the non-league match as the Hornets took a hard-earned victory. The Hornets (5-2), coming off of a one-goal win (10-9) over Scituate in the Chowda Cup, faced a deficit the entire first half, closing the gap on the Trojans to 5-4 by halftime when Hunter Ferreira scored the second of his two goals at 10:03 of the second period.

Sam O'Connell and Dan DeGirolamo also had two goals each for the Hornets. Mansfield next meets Franklin Wednesday.

Tri-County 12,

Southeastern Reg. 9

EASTON - Tri-County freshman Jake Moreau scored six times including a crucial goal off a faceoff early in the fourth quarter for Tri-County to extend their advantage back to 10-8 after Southeastern had cut the lead to one.

Adam Garcia netted a pair of goals, and Nick LaVerdiere chipped in with a goal and three assists for the Cougars, who did not trail after an early 1-1 tie in a close game. Ethan Olsen made eight saves in net for Tri-County (4-3), who will play at Bishop Connolly Wednesday.

Norton 5,

MARLBORO - Riley Coffey scored two goals, while Nick Joyce totaled 16 saves in goal as Norton won the non-league match. Steve Santangelo, Josh Fuller and Joe Weber each had one goal for the Lancers, who held a 3-2 halftime lead. Norton (5-3) meets Attleboro Thursday.

King Philip 10, Westwood 9

WRENTHAM - King Philip's Nate Minkwitz scored with 1:01 left to play to break a 9-9 tie and send the Warriors to a non-league victory after they trailed 7-2 at halftime.

Tim Watson had four goals and an assist, Minkwitz three goals and an assist, John DeLuca two goals and Colin DeVellis five assists for the Warriors (5-3), who visit Stoughton Wednesday.

Foxboro 4, Canton 2

CANTON - Trey Guerrini had two goals and Mike Moses and James Ilveria a goal apiece for the Warriors (7-1) in their Hockomock League win.
