Everyone knows that nothing can complement a special occasion better than a beautiful plant - like the quality selections offered at Patrick Lyons Greenhouses on Central Street.
Whether we’re talking about birthdays, anniversaries, or just something special for yourself, adding colorful plants to any decorating scheme will make the occasion more meaningful.
Whether your particular needs lean more towards beautifying your own home, or just saying thank you by giving a plant to someone as a gift, you can always be sure of finding just what you’re looking for at Patrick Lyons Greenhouses.
As most area residents already know, Lyons is a third generation business that has been in Foxboro more than 50 years. The official name of the business — Patrick Lyons Greenhouses Inc. — comes from its founder.
Even the location, at 303 Central St., is the same as it was when Patrick got things started over a half-century ago. Current proprietors Terry and Ray Lyons are now carrying on the original Lyons tradition of providing friendly, expert service, plus quality products at reasonable prices.
The operation has over 11,000 square feet of greenhouse space on Central Street (even more at another location), which makes it one of the largest “budding” concerns in the area. The products they sell are their own, grown right on the premises.
Right now, you’ll find thousands of poinsettias for Christmas. Lyons also has beautiful holiday cyclamens in assorted colors, and decorative log and cemetery baskets. They also have a variety of indoor plants to choose from to decorate the inside of your home with greens and flowers.
Stop by and just browse around. Inside flowering plants are beautiful too. Selections are varied in size and color, and the prices are reasonable.
It’s a tough combination to beat.
Patrick Lyons Greenhouse is open seven days a week for customer convenience. You can visit Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You’ll find a visit to the large, spacious greenhouse a pleasant and uplifting experience — and you’re sure to find just what you need.
Whenever you go, one visit is all you’ll need to convince yourself that when fresh plants are needed, you can’t do better than Lyons — a greenhouse that has been offering beautiful plants for three generations.
