Addams

Back row from left to right: Brielle Smith as Morticia, Vaughn Haralson as Lurch, Sumner Brown as Gomez. Front Row: Jamie Kuenzel as Pugsley and Clara Kierce as Wednesday.

Theater students at the high school will be performing “The Addams Family” Nov. 14 to 16, in the auditorium.

It is the second consecutive year the theater students have put on a fall musical.

The production features a live band playing a series of fast-paced pop rock songs as the quirks of the Addamses play out live. The show follows a now 18-year-old Wednesday Addams as she introduces her very normal boyfriend and his conservative parents to the macabre of the Addams Family. Think of this as “Meet the Parents” meets “Hotel Transylvania,” said teacher Scott Walker who is directing the production.

Tickets are available online at ticketstage.com for $10 and will also be on sale at the door. Performances are Nov. 14, 15, and 16 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Nov. 16.
