FOXBORO - Firefighters quickly extinguished a heating - air conditioning unit atop one of the concession stands at Gillette Stadium Saturday.

Capt. David Healy said crews were called to the stadium when a fire alarm tripped in the 300 level in a concession stand. When crews opened the stand they found smoke and then found a small fire in the heating and ventilation system on the roof of the stand.

He said the fire was quickly extinguished.
