MANSFIELD — An Xfinity Center concert-goer who allegedly drove erratically in the venue parking lot faces charges he was under the influence of marijuana.

Lyden Marcellot, 32, of Boston, allegedly told police he had ingested edible marijuana shortly after getting out of his car before the Iron Maiden concert Wednesday night.

Marcellot pleaded innocent Thursday in Attleboro District Court and is free on his own recognizance.

He allegedly got out of his car and walked into the woods after it became stuck in a rut in an unpaved section of the parking lot around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was arrested by Detective David Kerr, who was working a concert detail in the parking lot.

Marcellot was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital for treatment after he told police he did not feel well.

He is due back in court Aug. 16.

David Linton may be reached at 508-236-0338.
