Police say this man fraudulently obtained $5,000 from Sharon Credit Union in downtown North Attleboro.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Police are trying to identify a man who fraudulently obtained $5,000 from a downtown bank using a bogus license.

Police say the man walked into the Sharon Credit Union at 73 North Washington St. on Aug. 16 and gave the teller a false license, which displayed the information of an account holder. He left the bank after withdrawing $5,000.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the man they are looking for.
