To the editor:

Real estate taxes, federal income tax, state income tax, sales taxes, excise tax, personal property tax, health insurance, dental insurance all go up but the increase in seniors’ pay checks do not.

The city should have built a casino, like Plainville did, to bring in more money instead of a golf course that needs to be taken care of by city employees and a new high school.

The city has to stop depending on citizens to pay for all the expenses and start figuring out ways to make money. New houses, new stores are going up all over the city and they pay taxes. When is there every going to be enough money in Attleboro?

Just think what happens when no one can afford to live here in Attleboro.
