Gil scored unassisted 30 seconds into the match for the Revolution (7-3-5) and Bobby Wood stretched the lead to 2-0 at halftime when he took a pass from Emmanuel Boateng in the 37th minute and scored for a fifth time this season. Atlanta United (6-4-6) stormed back in the second half.
